High School students in Mrs. Audia's first block drawing class look through an art journal that has been traveling back and forth between Oberhausen, Germany and Greensburg. A total of 26 journals have been forming a Transatlantic Bridge between the cultures of these two towns which share a similar geographic and industrial history.

The project is funded through a grant from the Museums and Community Collaborations Abroad and is administered by the Westmoreland Museum of American Art. It features a partnership with the LVR-Industriemuseum and three high schools in Germany. In addition to the journals, students are exchanging videos, emails and blogging about their experiences.
